She says that she now realizes that she has been addicted to painkillers since she was thirteen years old, after having her tonsils removed. Kelly was prescribed liquid Vicodin for the pain and discomfort. She reveals that the Vicodin somehow made her feel confident- “like she was having fun and people liked her”.
