Next season (cycle 13 of ANTM), you’ll probably be wondering what the heck happened to Paulina Porizkova. I just heard that Paulina was unfortunately a victim of ANTM’s budget cuts.

Tyra’s Release Statement:

America’s Next Top Model is not immune to these financially challenging times. We’ve had to make significant cuts in every area of the production and, unfortunately, Paulina was a casualty of these cuts.

Tyra, who personally recruited Paulina for the show , says that she is very sad about the decision that the show had to make and that she really enjoyed working with Paulina, wishing her all the best.

However, on a recent television interview, Paulina talks about why she believes she was fired.

The reason I was told I was fired was because, it seemed that America’s Next Top Model has gotten too fat and they needed to cut some fat and the fat was me. So I figured it was either that or my gigantic huge ego. Which I wasn’t aware of until I was told by the producers that I have an ego problem.
