Yep. According to the Huffington Post, a woman named Regina Kimbell is suing Chris Rock and the related film production companies
for at least 5 million. Regina says that Chris Rock’s documentary “Good Hair” (soon to be released nationwide on October 23, 2009) is
a copy of her film, “My Nappy Roots”, which is said to have been screened by Chris Rock in 2007.
I hear that Regina is trying to block the release of “Good Hair” so if you want to see this movie / documentary, you may want to see it as soon as it opens in your city.
