Three 16 year-olds, who wish to remain anonymous, tell First Class Fashionista that they witnessed drug deals and even drug use at the HallowFreaknWeen costume party hosted by Beatport and Triad Dragons Entertainment at Broomfield’s 1st Bank Center last Saturday.
The young teens who were initially unaware of the “type” of party they were going to, now describe the HallowFreaknWeen party as being like a “rave”, and say that they were asked where the pills were too many times. “Anyone could tell who the drug dealers were because they were wearing white gloves with lights to enhance “tripping”, says the teens. Shockingly, the teens also witnessed “something being blown in people’s faces”.
As a parent, I am horrified that this is happening, especially at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado. I mean, really? The party was marketed for 16 and up! As a community, we definitely need to do a better job at protecting our young teens from being exposed to drugs- and drug use.
The teens still say they had a great time, but I thought parents would want to know what went on that night at the HallowFreaknWeen party.
I found this link to a forum announcing that HallowFreaknWeen was a rave .
Pictures of HallowFreaknween found on the Westword provided by the 1st Bank Center.
