It is sad to announce that TV, film, and stage actress Jill Clayburgh has died at the age of 66 after a 21-year battle with leukemia. The star passed in Lakeville, Connecticut surrounded by family and her husband of 31 years, David Rabe. The New York native graduated from Sarah Lawrence college and got her first break in the 60s’ when she landed her first film role, The Wedding Party with Robert DeNiro. Jill Clayburgh later went on to star in shows such as Ally McBeal, Nip Tuck, and Dirty, Sexy Money which lasted only two seasons. Jill Clayburgh also starred in the upcoming movie Love and Other Drugs with Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway.
