Harry Potter star Emma Watson is all grown up now and she can not only act, but we’ve heard she’s also creating an eco-friendly fashion line. A source reports that the extremely talented 20-year-old wrote to designers asking if they would do a fair-trade organic collection with her. In these letters, Watson pitched: “I will put it out there that I work for anyone for free if they are prepared to make their clothing fair trade organic” and, not surprisingly, Emma Watson did get a response.
According to our source, it was fashion designer Alberta Ferretti who called Emma and asked her if she wanted to team up with an undisclosed Italian label on a new eco-friendly collection. Word is, Emma Watson can’t say the name of the collection just yet, but says more information will come very, very soon. The collection is said to be released, in stores and on the racks before the final Harry Potter movie.
We love Emma Watson’s pixie haircut and dress on the red carpet of the world premiere of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” in London, England on November 11, 2010.
