I am inspired by anyone with diabetes especially type I. I am a nurse and I know the detailed precise management that is required to stay in check. I also know because my best friend has type I diabetes, he has dealt with diabetes since we were in grade school. We are alomost 40 years old, we play soccer on an adult league together, we surf together (he is better), we snowboard, dive, and so much more! He is more talented than anyone I know. He also plays the drums! I think that it is great that Nick and his brothers are increasing the awareness of juvenile diabetes. I am impressed!

There is no medicine in the world ever made for curing diabetes. But having information about diabetes is the greatest thing you can do from preventing yourself from it. Diabetes cannot be cured but controlled. Diabetes can happen anytime. Cuts and wounds do not cure quickly and doctors do not operate if the sugar level is not under control and there are so many harmful effects of Diabetes in human body.

I don’t think diabetes is the end of the road. Well it certainly is a big hurdle but many people like Nick Jonas shows us that we can fight it.I know people who have broken down and who have given up and some who have kept fighting. Its important that we don’t remain cynical and jump this hurdle.
