I am a nurse and I know the detailed precise management that is required to stay in check. I also know because my best friend has type I diabetes, he has dealt with diabetes since we were in grade school. We are alomost 40 years old, we play soccer on an adult league together, we surf together (he is better), we snowboard, dive, and so much more! He is more talented than anyone I know. He also plays the drums! I think that it is great that Nick and his brothers are increasing the awareness of juvenile diabetes. I am impressed!
