Just weeks after she announced that she confidentially had a child via a surrogate mother, it looks as if Nicole Kidman may want to have another child. Like many things that come easy to some people, mothering definitely seems to come easy for Nicole. The now mother of four says, she “had a roller coaster ride with fertility”. In a recent interview with Australia’s 60 minutes Nicole Kidman added,
“Anyone that’s been in the place of wanting another child or wanting a child knows the disappointment, the pain and the loss you go through trying and struggling with fertility. Fertility is such a big thing, and it’s not something I’ve ever run away from talking about”.
The 43-year-old actress, star of The Stepford Wives movie remake, has been aware of her fertility problems since her marriage with Tom Cruise when, sadly, she had a miscarriage and the couple soon decided to end their marriage in 2001.
Although Nicole may have had fertility problems, it didn’t stop her from having children. After adopting two children, Isabelle and Conner, and later giving birth to daughter Sunday Rose, Nicole and Keith Urban wanted a fourth child but Nicole couldn’t get pregnant, so the couple chose a surrogate mother who gave birth to Faith Margaret Kidman.
“We were in a place of desperately wanting another child. This opportunity arose for us, and I couldn’t get pregnant,” Nicole Kidman says.
Whether she’s at her home in Nashville or in Los Angeles, Nicole Kidman says she enjoys spending time with all of her children. Congratulations to Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban on their newest arrival!
