A few months after finalizing a divorce with now ex-husband Jordan Bratman and a much needed post divorce vacation, Christina Aguilera has gotten herself in a little trouble. The 30-year-old mother to son Max was put in jail after an incident of public intoxication along with her boyfriend who was booked on the suspicion of DUI. According to reports, Christina Aguilera was (not officially) arrested on Tuesday, March 1st and was released from the West Hollywood sheriff station at 7:30 a.m the very next morning. Christina and her boyfriend, Matt Rutler, were originally stopped after someone noticed their car weaving along the road. Luckily, the police are not looking to press charges against Christina Aguilera.
A Los Angeles County Sheriff spokesman made a statement to the press saying, “We have no desire to prosecute, none whatsoever. It is just for a public safety issue. When she was able to navigate and to think on her own, and make her own way, she was released”, adding that “Christina was compliant and she was just intoxicated and not belligerent”.
We heard that when Christina Aguilera asked could she leave, they granted her request seeing that she was in good enough shape to take care of herself.
