My New Longchamp Handbag in Celebration of Faraway Starring Kate Moss

Let’s start with two inspiring quotes. “Put in the work and the results will come” and- “Do it because you love it!” That’s what we do at First Class Fashionista, we do it because we love it.

I’ve been sharing with you many new and exciting products as a Vogue Influencer, so we are very excited to share that on March 10th, to celebrate the launch of the Longchamp film “Faraway” starring supermodel and style icon Kate Moss, First Class Fashionista was selected to receive the new Longchamp handbag from the Kate Moss for Longchamp of Paris collection, Faraway on the Road. I didn’t know which bag, but I was so excited. 10 days later, around 4 o’clock, I picked-up a package but I was off to the gym after a long day of work- A Fashionista has to get her workout on! After an hour and a half of training at LA Boxing, I was finally home (and oh, so tired), but I opened the box and the escaping leathery smell was very familiar- enclosed was the Longchamp Gloucester bag pictured below! I started burning more calories as I did a little dance. I love this bag! And I’ll share my review later.

Vogue says “The bags have been flying off the shelf, and the one you’ll find most difficult to get hold of, however, is Moss’ Gloucester bag.”

Challenge: Visit Longchamp, watch the movie and spy the new Gloucester handbag in the Faraway movie!

Oh, the Things I Look Forward to Doing with My Longchamp Bag!

Faraway is a 3 minute Longchamp and Kate Moss produced mini film for the spring / summer 2011 “Faraway on the Road” collection, the first Kate Moss handbag collection for Longchamp. The film, inspired by Kate Moss’ travels, directed by Alasdair McLelland and styled by Katy England, features the beautiful Kate Moss as a free spirit in Marrakech, Morocco. Carrying a Longchamp handbag is meant to evoke a timeless spirit of adventure. With her Longchamp bag, Kate Moss travels by foot and by car, picnics, relaxes in a hammock, makes her own music with a tambourine and even goes for a swim- all to the soundtrack of “Sand” by Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazelwood. These are the things I look forward to doing with my Longchamp bag too- And so much more!
