We were there. Were you there? If not get there for day 2! What am I talking about? The first ever, first annual Denver Style Expo! We had a blast today getting makeovers, our hair styled and chatting with Denver’s own Charlie Price, Nina Flowers and many other talented people who came out to support the Denver Style Expo. I even took home a fabulous pair of boots from Capelta! Yes, Fashionista! There are not only runway shows, but there’s shopping too.

Tomorrow will be just as exciting, featuring HOURLY runway shows and Project Runway’s Mondo Guerra has even decided to feature his entire Fall 2011 collection at the Denver Style Expo. This is an event you don’t want to miss!

In the video below, we chatted with host Dana Cain from Dana Cain Events and talked to her about the Denver Style Expo and Denver’s fashion scene. Looking forward to an annual event, Dana tells First Class Fashionista how the concept of the first annual Denver Style Expo came about and its mission.

“I thought of the Denver Style Expo a year ago and it was created to promote local Denver design talent and create a one stop shopping experience to buy local,” says Dana.

I love to know it first, try it first and share it with you first! . At “First Class Fashionista”, we believe fashion is a lifestyle and, because at FCF we are beauty and brains, I believe being a true “Fashionista” doesn’t mean you have to spend first class money to travel first class, stay in 5 star hotels, dine at the finest restaurants or even rock the latest look of the trendsetting fashionista. I'm on a mission to inform and inspire. As always, thanks for reading. And, yes, sharing is caring--We appreciate you.
