We had so much fun at the first annual Denver Style expo on day one of the two day event! We got makeover’s, our hair styled by professionals, learned about new beauty products and sat stage side for two fashion shows.

One of the highlights of the evening was the Nina Flowers Meet and Greet. Nina drew a huge crowd! The Meet and Greet included getting your picture taken with Nina Flowers and a free autographed headshot of Nina. Thanks to all who waited patiently while First Class Fashionista chatted with Nina about Rupaul’s Drag Race!

It was an awesome experience meeting and chatting with Nina Flowers, like Mondo Guerra, Nina is one of our many talents from Denver who have competed on a Reality TV show. If you are not familiar with Nina Flowers, in 2008, with a large following and seductive charisma, she was voted on to compete on Logo’s Rupaul’s Drag Race by old and new fans at Nina Flowers competed on season 1 of Rupaul’s Drag Race and was a finalist and second runner up on season 2.

“We’re really looking for charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent. These are people who have taken adversity and turned it into something beautiful and something powerful,” says Rupaul

The Nina Flowers I had the pleasure of meeting is charismatic, unique, talented- And nerve is the power of expression, so she definitely has that too. Nina is nothing less than fabulous. She’s beautiful inside and out and her makeup is simply flawless.

Nina Flowers shared one of her secrets with us. We asked, “How does your hat stay on?” “Superglue,” says Nina Flowers tells our junior Fashionista. Now that’s inside info! Note: Don’t try this at home because it has to be a mixture of superglue and some other secret ingredient that keeps it from damaging her skin! Enjoy our video below.

Question: For those of us who haven’t been watching, tell us about Rupaul’s Drag Race.

Answer: “Rupaul’s Drag Race is a reality show looking for America’s next drag super star, and it’s sorta like a combination of America’s Next Top Model and Project Runway, but for entertainers. It’s amazing, so if you guys haven’t been watching, go to Logo or”, says Nina Flowers reporting live from Denver.
