Well, first of all you have to admire her for having balls for this. But it’s so ugly! Either she lost her mind or she just wants attention – if that’s the case – she got my attention!
It’s lolita style, from Japanese brand Angelic Pretty. Unfortunately it wasn’t coordinated very well. I wish I could say I was glad that lolita is making its way west, but if this is what it’ll turn into, I can’t say I am..
All I can say is wow. Lolita style is a very particular fashion style in Japan, one that takes a lot of time and a /lot/ of money. Even when done properly, it doesn’t always come off looking the way intended. It takes a very cute, doll-like girl to be able to pull off this style, and most non-Japanese flounder in their petticoats. Taking one piece of lolita wear and deviating from the style completely is pretty much fashion suicide, and this is coming from someone who isn’t exactly a fashionista.
While one can /admire/ certain clothes or styles, if the look doesn’t suit you, just don’t wear it.
As a lolita, I say MISS MISS MISS! Maybe a smaller red sidebow with a thicker white blouse would’ve been good, along with darker jeans. Also, maybe something flashier with the hair. It looks too plain.
