Penelope Cruz Interview: Penelope Cruz on Being a Mom

In a recent interview, Penelope Cruz talks about motherhood. “It’s the most amazing thing on this planet,” says Penelope.

Penelope is making her rounds to promote her new movie, “The Pirate’s of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides”. Costarring with Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz talks about being pregnant during the filming of the fourth installment of the Pirate’s of the Caribbean.

“I never did anything dangerous. They were so caring and so protective. I’ll never forget that,” Penelope recalls.

Penelope Cruz say motherhood is the most amazing thing on this planet and, not surprising at all, she tries not to talk about it too much. “He is such a precious thing to me that I try to keep things separate from my work,” says Penelope Cruz who wore an identifiable mommy glow.

Penelope Cruz not wanting to talk about her son, Leo, is not surprising at all because Penelope and husband Javier Bradem initially tried to keep the pregnancy under wraps. Dodging pregnancy rumors for more than a month, a rep for the couple finally released a statement in September confirming the pregnancy. Penelope was already in her second trimester.

Penelope, Javier and a few close family members welcomed their son, Leo, into the world on January 22, 2011. Four months later, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Strange Tides is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 20th. Penelope Cruz is an amazing lady.
