Jessica and Eric have set a wedding date. After dating for 6 months, Jessica Simpson and former pro footballer, Eric Johnson, announced their engagement back in November, but the couple wanted to take their time to set a wedding date. “No date has been set yet. We’ve both been married before. We’re enjoying our commitment to each other. We want to take our time,” says Jessica Simpson. Now, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson, who celebrated their one year anniversary this month, have set a date for a dream destination wedding. The plan is, after being engaged for a year, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson will get married on the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii on November 11, 2011, 11/11/11.

The wedding date and location is set, now let’s talk about Jessica Simpson’s wedding dress. Jessica Simpson, who accepted US Weekly’s 2011 Style Icon award last April, says she is helping to design her wedding dress, but Jessica is keeping the collaboration under wraps for now. “It won’t be a Jessica Simpson Collection dress, she tells Extra. As for the style of the dress, Jessica says she hasn’t decided, although she has few ideas. “I don’t know if I want the big boom, or the curvy thing, but it will be something beautiful,” says Jessica Simpson on the red carpet of US Weekly’s Hot Hollywood Party. Jessica, who was previously married to Nick Lache, wore a Vera Wang gown for her first wedding.
