Last September, David Beckham filed a lawsuit against In Touch Weekly for writing an article that claimed he paid a call girl $10,000 to have sex with him, and now it looks like the mag has gotten itself in hot water again over another cheating story. In an upcoming issue of In Touch Weekly, the headline reads “Stop The Wedding! Kim Caught Cheating!”, and Kim Kardashian, who is newly engaged, is not too happy about it. Reps for Kim Kardashian have told our sources Kim K sent In Touch Weekly a cease and desist order. According to a released statement, Kim Kardashian may even be looking to take legal action against In Touch Weekly for making up a story about her allegedly cheating on her fiance, Kris Humphries, saying such a fabrication is “at a minimum “damaging and defamatory”.
In addition, Kim K is threatening to take legal action against Bret Lockett, the supposed other man, who interviewed with In Touch Weekly about his relationship Kim Kardashian. Kim Kardashian’s reps claim Kim K had never even heard of Bret Lockett. And now, Bret Lockett has come forward to admit on Showbiz Tonight that he has never met Kim Kardashian in person.
This issue of In Touch Weekly is supposed to be released on June 20th. If the story isn’t dropped, Kim K will probably be taking In Touch Weekly to court.
Fashionista, I didn’t believe Kim Kardashian cheated on Kris Humphries. Kim and Kris just celebrated their engagement with a trip to Monaco, and I’m sure Kim Kardashian will be celebrating her engagement ring worth $2 million dollars for many years to come.
