Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon Review: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Playing the Lovely Curator of An Enemy’s Car Collection, Girlfriend to Sam Witwicky, and Running Endlessly in 7 inch Louboutins!
Reluctant as always, I was dragged along to see the new installment of Transformers with my action-loving boyfriend. Now, I’ll admit I have a weak spot for the Transformers franchise, seeing as my tomboy childhood was filled with toys inspired by this saga. However, unimpressed by the previous films in the series, and due to my lack of appeal for Megan Fox, I didn’t want to see “Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon”.
Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! Grossing nearly $22 million on its first day, I could tell it would be big. This action packed film, directed by Micheal Bay had scenes truly from out of this world. The special effects were breathtakingly realistic and the storyline was quite interesting.
In her acting debut, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, a Victoria’s Secret model, plays the modestly beautiful girlfriend of the beloved Sam Witwicky, played by Shia Labeouf. As the Autobots discover the secret wreckage of one of their previous leader’s ships on the moon, they race the Decepticons to find universal power. In this story of betrayal, love, and true friendship– humankind learns, more than ever, that the Autobots truly are the good guys.
As new as she is to acting, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley did a phenomenal job playing the lovely curator of an enemy’s car collection, and girlfriend to Sam Witwicky, as well as running endlessly in 7 inch Christian Louboutin heels.
Overall, I give this movie a 3.4 out of four stars, and is definitely a must-see this summer!
