“VitaminWater® Uncapped Live” has been on tour visiting major cities around the U.S. to discover and showcase each city’s local talent. “VitaminWater Uncapped Live Denver” was held at the Space Gallery in Denver’s art district from Friday, July, 21st to 24th. I had the opportunity to drop in on the last day. I had a great time. When I first walked into the venue, I didn’t just “notice” the urban VitaminWater and Colorado graffiti art– it commanded my attention. I did a little research, and discovered the mural art was a creative collective by So-Gnar and artists from “Snowboard Colorado Magazine”. I enjoyed performances from “From the Top Break Dance Crew” and “Foodchain 5.0”. The lighting and the sound for these performances was exceptional for Denver.
With friendly and welcoming VitaminWater ambassadors, the VitaminWater lounge in a loft-like area upstairs, activities for the kids between performances and great SWAG bags, this was a must-attend, absolutely free event that catered to all ages and families.
After the show, I chatted with Jayce Cabell from Foodchain 5.0. Jayce Cabell stood out because he was not only wearing a t-shirt which read, “True Artists Create Something from Nothing” (The label’s working creative concept and inspiration!) but his grandmother was stage-front supporting the group. She even has a Foodchain tattoo on her arm!!!
I asked Jayce how the label heard about the event. “VitaminWater contacted us,” says Jayce Cabell.
