Tony Award Winner Viola Davis Announces Domestic Adoption Plans

Congratulations are in order for “The Help” Actress Viola Davis and husband, actor Julius Tennon, on their upcoming adoption! After receiving both positive and glowing reviews on “The Help”, Viola and Julius sure do have a lot to be happy about. The couple announced at the Hollywood premier of The Help that they were going to be parents.

Viola Davis and Julius Tennon shared that they’re planning to adopt domestically from within the United States. “We don’t have any children, but we are about to adopt a baby,” Julius Tennon tells E! News on the red carpet of “The Help” premiere.

The couple has been married since 2003. This will be Viola and Julius’ first child together. No news on whether the baby will be a boy or girl. Tennon has two children from a former relationship.

“The Help”, based on the #1 New York Times best-selling book, is in theaters now! The official release date for “The Help” is August 10, 2011.
