The Big Bang Theory Season 4 on DVD Sketch Living with a Roommate

The Big Bang Theory: Living with a roommate

The Big Bang Theory

The Big Bang Theory

I have had my share of roommates. My freshman year in college, I shared the smallest room with two girls!–Reality check–Rooming with two girls in a room less than half the size of my own at home! “How would I ever survive”, I thought. Besides the walls nearly caving in on me, I had two girl’s personal living styles to deal with. One of my roommates reminded me more of a “Shelton” from the The Big Bang Theory. She was more reserved, a little obsessive-compulsive, and had rules to no end. The other was a little like me, but used all of my make-up and never returned my outfits! But in the end, we all had a fun year together and made memories to last a lifetime.

With the relationship of Shelton and Leonard from The Big Bang Theory we see that living with a roommate can be a great but difficult experience. They are the best of friends, but they are constantly bickering. This is apparent with Shelton’s long list of rules and his crazy roommate agreement.

I would have never chosen a “Shelton” roommate but at my college we didn’t have a choice. Believe it or not, there are people who are a little “Shelton”-like.
