Bulgari Celebrates the Revival of the Serpenti Bracelet with Vogue Influencer!

As Vogue Influencers we are proud to say we know it first, try it first and then share it with you, our valued reader, FIRST!

On the afternoon of Fashion’s Night Out, the door bell rang. It was UPS delivering an exclusive gift from Bulgari–The Bulgari Serpenti bracelet! Since 1884, Bulgari has created a harmony of classic and modern pieces. Now, after decades, Bulgari even decided to revive the Sepernti accessories collection. In 1971, the Bulgari snake accessories were featured in an issue of Vogue. To celebrate the connection of two iconic brands and the Bulgari Serpenti introduction into high fashion, Bulgari sent select Vogue Influencers the Bulgari Serpenti bracelet!

I was so excited to receive my new Bulgari Serpenti bracelet on Fashion’s Night Out, I posted this note on my Facebook fan page:

Below, a picture of the BVLGARI Serpenti Bracelet freed from the black gift box with white Vogue bow! The kurung skin (snake leather) bracelet with black and white snake head and gold detail with malachite (a green looking copper carbonate mineral) eyes complimented my Fashion’s Night Out dress perfectly. The BVLGARI Serpenti Bracelet also went nicely with my gold watch.

Wait, Bulgari thought of you too! As a Vogue Influencer, Bulgari is giving my readers an insider’s look at the historical heritage and inspiration for the Fall / Winter 2011 Serpenti accessories collection. Enjoy.

This photo of Bulgari’s snake accessories was featured in a 1971 issue of Vogue.

Made of karung skin, the snake-head details have light gold and enamel finishes with malachite eyes. Also available in Shanghai red, black, and amber karung from the FW 2011 Collection.

This bracelet was one of the inspirations for Bulgari’s Fall Winter 2011 Collection. The flexible bracelet imitates a coiled snake with white and black enamel scales and pear-shaped diamond eyes.

Originally owned by fashion legend Diana Vreeland, Bulgari replicated this belt so it could have a permanent place in their Historical Archive Collection. This belt is made of pink and white enamel with sapphire eyes.

For Bulgari 2011 Accessories Collection, this shoulder bag is made of luxurious karung skin, and the snake-head closure has a light gold and enamel finish with pear-shaped malachite eyes.
