Actress Amy Smart Marries HGTV’s Carter Oosterhouse in a gorgeous southern wedding.
The couple who said their I-do’s on September 10th, were married in Tranverse City, Michigan. The location had special significance to the couple as the place where the groom grew up and where the brides parents live.
The rustic themed affair took place outdoors and was filled with the colors of wild flowers. The bride looked classic and in a Carolina Herrera ruffled gown. She kept her makeup natural and had her hair pulled away from her face in a timeless up-do. The bridal party each wore different styles of deep blue dresses all designed by Ann Taylor.
The newly weds shared their first dance as they were serenaded by two fiddlers playing U2’s “All I Want is You”. At the end of the evening the blissful bride showered her hubby in a rain of confetti.
The couple who reportedly met last November, were only together a short time before Carter popped the big question. We wish them both happiness in their new life together!
I had no idea those two go married. I just went to a wedding last month in Michigan, and the setting and weather was lovely!
