Demi Moore was hospitalized after reportedly smoking an unknown substance. The 49-year-old actress was the cause of concern surrounding a 911 call placed Thursday evening. The friend of Moore who placed the call has more than a few people curious to know exactly what happened that night. The conversation with the 911 dispatcher has since been released, and can confirm that Demi Moore was in fact dealing with the effects of smoking and inhaling a foreign substance. The caller tells the dispatcher that Moore is dealing with “convulsions” and is “semi conscious”. After exchanging more information, paramedics arrived on the scene just as Demi Moore was starting to regain consciousness. TMZ, was among the first to obtain the 911 call and is saying that the unknown substance is in fact nitrous oxide.

The 911 call has also released information concerning Demi’s recent state of mind. When asked if Demi has used this substance before the friend replies, “I don’t know. There’s been some stuff recently that we’re all just finding out.”

Demi Moore recently went through a very public divorce from actor Ashton Kutcher back in November, after being married for close to 7 years.

Moore’s publicist has since denied all claims that the actress is experiencing substance abuse. Currently, Demi Moore is in a treatment facility and claiming that “exhaustion” is the reason behind her decision to enroll.
