Under the creative direction of NAHA Makeup Artist of the Year nominee and 303 Magazine fashion and beauty editor, Katelyn Simkins, night two of Denver Fashion Weekend Spring/Summer 2012 opened with a make up show unlike any other. Avante-garde full-body artistry transformed models in see through catsuits and two piece swimwear into living, breathing works of art.
Katelyn and her team’s artistic talents were seen throughout the show as local boutiques featured trendy pastel and black and white must-haves for spring and summer. The 1920’s inspired looks, with a modern day twist, illustrates how to best mix, match and pair black and white with a pastel colored dress, top or bottom. With this color trend, as seen on the DFW catwalk, a pastel handbag or stockings can be the perfect accessory to show off your style.
