You’re Invited to the Wake Up Your Warrior Awards and Fashion Show

It’s spring time in the Rockies and fashionistas are shedding their winter coats and boots, and making diva appearances everywhere—especially for a good cause. Denver’s most fashionable philanthropists were recently treated to a runway presentation by New York Designer Maria Cornejo, an event hosted by Max Clothing Stores that raised close to $200,000 for the Mike McMorris Cystic Fibrosis Center at Children’s Hospital Colorado. On the heels of this event is the Annual Wake Up Your Warrior Awards, taking place in the Chambers Grant Salon at Ellie Caulkins Opera House on Friday, April 6th.

The Wake Up Your Warrior Awards is an elegant red carpet affair that will recognize 3 deserving members of the community who have overcome adversity to help themselves and others. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center, a staff of attorneys who represent and protect the best interests of abused and neglected children involved in open Colorado Department of Human Services cases.
