Designer Lubov Azria was keen on color at this year’s resort 2013 show. The BCBG line was full of neon touches, pretty patterns and an air for the jet-setting lifestyle. There were subtle cultural influences from Kimono-style sleeves to Indian inspired textiles. Two-piece flowy shorts and open blouses lend nicely to exposed bikini tops and strappy sandals. A striped embellished vest was paired with loose-fitting black trousers and a day-glo envelope clutch. Tunics and maxi dresses were at the centerpiece of the collection and were done in a variety of patterns and textures.
I love the patterned mini-textile dress, the cobalt blue really popped and would look amazing with tan. Although the silhouettes were relatively modest, this is definitely a collection that exudes young sophistication.

I really love the textile and pattern choices of the collection. Awesome review.
