Wine, Women and Shoes was held last Saturday at the Four Seasons Hotel in Denver. This event raised money for Child Advocates-Denver CASA. CASA is an organization that was established to make sure all children have a safe environment to thrive. Community volunteers come from diverse cultures and backgrounds, and are specially selected and trained to represent children who are abused and neglected.
During the event, marketplace partners like: Diana E. Kelly, Toolips Boutique and Gracie’s Boutique were set-up to sell their merchandise. And as handsome men walked around carrying women’s shoes on a platter, wineries like: Girls in the Vineyard, Parducci Wine Cellars and Amberhill offered intriguing wine samples that excited the palate and stimulated the senses.
A wonderful fashion show took place in the main area surrounded by food and wine. Justice Kwesi Kwarteng (CFW Founder and Executive Creative Director) styled, choreographed and directed the runway. The fashion show had cute kids and beautiful models showcasing the garments and designs from: Toolips Boutique, Little Me’s, Bling Fix, Justice K, Pineda Covalin, Covelo Clothing, Gabriela Martinez, Natalee M Design and Von Ruhtenberg.
This event was amazing! It had everything a person in fashion would love to see and experience. There were so many unique markets to learn about and people to network with. My favorite part of the “Wine, Women and Shoes” event was the auction. The man who auctioned off items during the live auction was so entertaining and humorous. He really knew how to get the audience involved, and laughing.
