The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund was established in 2003. The purpose of this organization is to help American designers succeed with guidance from an industry professional along with financial support. Last year Joseph Altuzarra won the $300,000; while Pamela Love and Creatures of the Wind (Shane Gabier and Christopher Peters) received $100,000. Fashion icon leaders like Diane Von Furstenberg became their business mentors. The 2012 winners are expected to be announced November 13th at the New York dinner gala.
