Leaves are falling and pumpkin is now acceptable in every form. My mood instantly picked up when I saw the weather report for earlier this week—70s everyday. This weather, my friends, is sweater weather; and I call sweater weather better weather.
Today I’m answering your questions on perfecting the sweater weather look:
What color sweaters work best for autumn and winter?
I would say crème, charcoal/grey and burgundy. Because I typically wear black on bottom and black boots, pairing a sweater of one of these hues is a good contrast.
What type of layering can you do with sweaters?
If it hasn’t gotten too chilly yet, you can place a sweater over a maxi dress and pair it with wedges or, for those frostier days, boots will add a little edge to your look and help keep you warm. A sweater and scarf is also a good fall combination. Tube scarves are my favorite to have closer to winter. Also, sweater dresses can be fun with black or colored tights and boots.
What are your top three places to snag the cutest sweater this season?
How about four!
