Be Bold with Cut Outs

Many designers have chosen to use cutouts as a design aesthetic for their evening gowns. The cutouts are usually placed in unique places throughout a garment to show off a woman’s natural curves or to emphasize certain areas that she may want more focus on. There have been a lot of gowns with cutouts seen both on the runway and on the red carpet recently. Showing off a little skin, these three celebs below show us exactly how to work it with cut outs on their evening gowns.

Jennifer Lawrence Critics Choice Awards

Jennifer Lawrence looked stunning at the 2013 Critics Choice Awards wearing a Black Prabel gown with cut out at the neckline and a long chiffon train down the back.

Heidi Klum Red Carpet Dresses

Wearing a gown by Julien Macdonald, Heidi Klum rocked a side cut out at the People’s Choice Awards. Black with sequin embellishments around the neckline, the cut outs on this dress were accompanied by a thigh high slit.

Kristen Wiig Red Carpet Dresses
Kristen Wiig nailed the cut out trend with a black seksi double-faced wool crepe cut out halter top gown by Michael Kors.

Now, the question is, how to find this style for an everyday event at an affordable price, but still feel like you’re dressed to walk down a red carpet just like the celebrities. Here are a few different dresses that could do just that and look great on anyone. Be bold and sexy with your own cutouts!
