Music’s top names gathered for the 55th Annual Grammy awards at the Los Angeles Staples Center last Sunday evening. From the Justin Timerlake, Jay-Z duet to LL Cool J’s tribute and late industry icon Whitney Huston; this year’s Grammy Awards was a show you didn’t wanna miss! Top nods went to Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean, Goyte and the Black Keys. Click here to see the full list of the evening winners.
However, the evening was just as much about the wide array of talent as it was the stunning fashions. The sheer talent must have carried through to this year’s red carpet choices as many musicians chose to show quite a bit of skin.
Topping our list for best dressed goes to one female who is no stranger to fashion and certainly not afraid of doing a sheer number, Rihanna, who is usually known for her over-the-top frocks looked stunning in an elegant gown by Alia. The fire red dress featured a criss-cross bodice and pleated skirt.
Country music sweetheart Taylor Swift dazzled in a white jewel encrusted gown by designer J. Mendel. Intricate T-Straps connected a deep-neckline while a plunging open back draped before falling into a sea of cream chiffon.
Katy Perry kept it simple in a vintage-inspired gown by Gucci. The long-sleeved mint green gown featured high neck floral beading and a wide revealing neckline which tailored to her toned figure.
Also making our list is:

Giuliana Rancic in Carlos Miele.

Carrie Underwood in Roberto Cavalli
Overall there wasn’t too many outrageous fashion looks at this years event. We’d love to hear what your favorite performance or look was from the evening! Leave us a comment below or tweet us @FCFashionista.
