Favorite Oscars 2013 Looks

As you are all well aware of by now, covering red carpet awards show fashion is one of my favorite things to do at First Class Fashionista. It seems like every other week there’s a new award show to discuss, and I love seeing what everyone wore and how the fashion differentiated from the previous red carpet event. The 2013 Oscars have been much anticipated and, of course, I saw more than enough red carpet looks that I absolutely adored. The Oscars is a very formal event, and some of the most prestigious actors and actresses turned up looking as good as ever. Here is a roundup of my favorite looks from the Red Carpet.

Oscars Jessica Chastain
Jessica Chastain in a custom Armani Prive gown. This bronze/gold sparkly gown looked absolutely flawless with Jessica’s gorgeous coloring. Her bold red lip and Hollywood glamour style curls tied the extremely classy look together perfectly.

Oscars Kerry Washington

Kerry Washington in a coral Miu Miu gown. For this being Ms. Washington’s first time at the Oscars, her red carpet style is extremely impressive. I love that this dress has a beautiful golden embellishment up top but simple on the bottom, showing off the gorgeous color of the gown.

Oscars Naomi Watts Naomi Watts in an Armani Prive gown. This is probably my favorite look of the night. Naomi Watts looks absolutely stunning in this metallic form-fitting gown. She is pulling off the cut out trend like it should be pulled off.

Zoe Saldana Oscars

Zoe Saldana in an Alexis Mabille gown. I love the femininity of the embellished bodice of this dress and elegance of the ombre train. I’m also loving the addition of a belt to accentuate Zoe’s teeny tiny waist.

These were my top picks for the night, although there were plenty of other incredible looks to choose from. What were your favorite looks?
