Recently, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to review a product for Alex and Ani. Of course, I said yes immediately. My department at work used to be [dangerously] close to all of the trend accessories and jewelry, so when I heard the name, I was of course both familiar with it and extremely excited. Those things fly off the shelves, especially around gift-giving holidays. After scouring their website to do more investigation, I can see why the business is so popular right now.
The brand itself speaks to a blend of fashion and sustainability with a a dash of the metaphysical. I love that the pieces are all created for a purpose, and with the intention of “enhancing the lives of [their] consumers”. Many of the pieces are intended to guide the right kind of positive energy toward the wearer so that they may achieve something or gain more balance in their life. Intention is something I have a great appreciation for, so it was hard selecting a single piece of jewelry for this review. Truthfully, I think they’re kind of a “gateway” bracelet. Every woman I know who has gotten into the Alex and Ani jewelry has at least three pieces! The bracelets look especially fun stacked, both playing into the layered bangle trend as well as allowing the wearer to customize the experience and meaning of their jewelry. I’m sure that now I have one, I’m going to need three more. The next pieces I’m eyeing are the Phoenix Wrap (found here), the Rock and Raw Wrap (found here) and the Breathe Journey Wrap (found here).

All Alex and Ani pieces also come with a card to explain the meaning behind the piece and the positive energy it is supposed to bring into your life. The card that was included states the following:
Emblematic of life’s zenith and nadir moments, the Path of Life® is representative of an infinite number of possibilities and expressions of love. Illustrating life’s twists, turns, and unexpected winds, wear the Path of Life® Charm to proudly celebrate your own willingness to travel towards life’s fruitful moments.
The piece itself is very beautiful, and I am more than excited to start wearing it. Stay tuned to see how it survives daily wear, as well as suggestions for what to wear with it! Thanks goes to Alex and Ani who provided the opportunity for FCF and our readers to get a firsthand look at this sensation.
