Fall’s 2015 New York Fashion Week has concluded. For the 15th year in a row, TRESemmé was the official hair care sponsor. The show opened and designer looks hit the runways to reveal the hottest fashion, makeup and hair trends soon to be translated to street style this spring. White on white, safari, military, graphic prints, use of sequins and sheer, color blocking, more fringe, asymmetric cuts and the cinched waist are a few things to watch. Overall, the makeup was kept simple and natural looking with a bit of shimmer or a dramatic matte lip. Now, let’s talk hair.
TRESemmé Lead Stylist Jeanie Syfu, Orlando Pita and team styled the hair for Banana Republic, BCBG, Carolina Herrera, Diane Von Furstenberg, Herve Leger, Marissa Webb, Misha Noonoo, Rachel Zoe and Rebecca Minkoff. This time, the theme of the hair was meant to compliment not overpower. Practical ponies to beach waves with center or side parts finished the looks. And, it looked so easy to do.
Off the runway, TRESemmé was celebrating their NYFW anniversary by offering guests complimentary styling inspired by past and present runway looks. They had two custom-built fully operational salons, which were located in the brand new IMG/WME Fashion Week venues. One was a VIP lounge collaboration with E! News. What a treat for all who stopped by. This was the third time TRESemmé and E! teamed up to rock NYFW.
After the show, TRESemmé wanted fans of their products to be able to re-create these looks on their own at home. In a series called Style Setters, featured in the video above, go behind the scenes with style and beauty influencers like Style Setter Reporter Louise Roe to get the latest in hair care how-to styling tips straight from the experts. This series highlights the hottest hair trends and gives you easy steps to getting runway hair everyday. Follow the hashtag #TRESnyfw on Instagram and Twitter for more behind-the-scenes hair.
